Cottage Garden, Highgate, London
The long borders in this large, well-established rear garden needed clearing and replanting.
Passionate about plants, the owner chose a limited palette of whites, purples and greens, with the odd shock of lime as the primary colour scheme! Yellow and orange were banished, and a mixture of plants was selected to create a cottage-style garden feel.
Plants tolerant of both sun and shade were used to unify the sunny and shady sides of the garden.
